Aldo Brinkhoff made a special photobooth for the Ed van der Elsken opening at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam
In this installation he strived to let the visitors be a part of the Ed van der Elsken world. A world where everyone is the odd one out, the different one. But when everyone is the different one, everybody is also the same. Brinkhoff visualized this by making the difference between the photographic and the real world invisible. This turned out in a life-size page of Ed van der Elsken’s book eye love you, consisting of 3 layers that from one perspective fit together perfectly.
